Please do not provide health, disability, dietary or other sensitive information unless it is relevant to safely delivering the requested service. Where such information is necessary, we will limit its use to the stated purpose and protect it appropriately. Our website is not directed at children. It may also display embedded content or links from services such as Tripadvisor, social-media platforms, video providers or MailBlaze. Those third parties may collect information under their own privacy policies. Where consent is legally required for non-essential cookies, they should remain disabled until you make a choice through the website’s cookie controls.
9. Direct marketing
We will send electronic marketing only where permitted by POPIA and applicable law. A request for a quotation, booking or service communication does not automatically constitute consent to unrelated marketing. You may opt out using the unsubscribe method in the communication or by contacting us at desk@lztravel.co.za. Service communications required for an active enquiry or booking may continue.
10. Security and data breaches
We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards designed to protect personal information against loss, unauthorised access, interference, alteration, destruction or disclosure. No electronic system is completely secure. If a security compromise creates a legal notification obligation, we will notify the Information Regulator and affected individuals as required by law.
11. Retention
We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably required for the purpose for which it was collected, an active enquiry or booking, legal and financial record keeping, dispute management or another lawful purpose. When retention is no longer authorised, we will delete, destroy or de-identify the information in a reasonably secure manner.
12. Your rights
Subject to POPIA and other applicable law, you may request confirmation that we hold your personal information, access to it, correction or deletion of inaccurate or unlawfully held information, or object to certain processing.
